Established in 1977, Powerstart (previously known as Fluid Precision) has continuously strived to provide solutions for local and international customers.
The company has been synonymous with reliable non-electric engine starting for over four decades and was the first in the world to offer a complete range of cast iron hydraulic starters for the mining industry. Customer demand led to the development of a range of turbine starters, also in cast iron and designed and bred to withstand the rigours of underground mining.
Powerworks are also the manufacturers of the Hydralift and Powerlift range of high tonnage OTR vehicle jacks and trestles as well as the Powerpress tyre presses.
